The worship and music ministry at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City offers its first-ever Christmas Worship Concerts on Saturday, December 19, at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 20, at 6 p.m.

Planned around the theme "Unto You . . ." the concerts feature the adult choir, two of the children's choirs, Senior Bells, and instrumentalists from within the congregation.

These concerts differ from cantatas: the music is in multiple styles and represents several eras of music history, from chorales by J.S. Bach to a song by contemporary Christian artist Michael W. Smith. "Martin Luther" will offer his thoughts on the season.

David Beecher became director of music at the church in July, and these are his first major events with the choirs. The public is invited to attend, to participate by joining in singing carols, and to share in Holy Communion.
