The 8th grade Rising Starr Lady Panthers are off to a great start with a record of 3-0!

They have outscored their opponents, which include Booth, Fayette, and Eagles Landing Middle Schools, by an average of 38-20.

For their opening game against Booth, leading scorers were Susan O'Brien with 10 points and Megan Nichols with six points. Alison Horne, Arianne Beall and Emily Ezpeleta each had five points. In their second game against Fayette Middle School the leading scorers were Megan Nichols with 10 points, Susan O'Brien with nine points, Alison Horne with six points and Erin Houghtaling with five points. Alison Horne had six rebounds and Emily Ezpeleta led the team with nine rebounds. Alison Horne led the Lady Panthers to victory against Eagles Landing with 20 points and Megan Nichols chipped in with six points. Alison and Megan also had five steals each.

The Lady Panthers play their big rival Whitewater Middle School on Friday, Dec.11 at home.
