Christmas Seals on the Web

Sending Christmas and Chanukah greetings and buying holiday gifts are all just one mouse click away, thanks to the American Lung Association's Christmas Seals® (http://www.christmasseals.org) and Chanuka Seals® web site (http://www.chanukaseals.org).

This year, holiday e-mailers can choose from a selection of vintage Christmas Seals® or this year's theme Seal. The Chanukah Seals® features six traditional Jewish symbols including the menorah and a spinning dreidel. These Holiday Seals can accompany a personally written note for friends and relatives throughout the Internet.

Visitors to the Christmas Seals® or Chanukah Seals® site can also choose from a variety of gifts to send to that special someone. Teddy bears, mugs, or even a T-shirt with the Christmas or Chanukah Seal are just a few of the gifts available for this holiday season. Children can also join in the fun by downloading and printing black and white Christmas Seals® for coloring or creating gift tags.

The American Lung Association's Christmas Seals® have been a holiday tradition since 1907 when the organization's founder, Emily Bissell, created them to raise funds for a tuberculosis sanatorium. "Christmas Seals® can help cure asthma" is the theme for this year. Donations to the site will help fund the American Lung Association's programs of education, asthma advocacy and research for lung disease, the third leading cause of death in the United States.
