Cast announced
for Offshoot's
winter production

Fayette County-based Offshoot Productions has announced its professional cast for the winter theatrical presentation of "What Doesn't Kill Me...," which consists of three dark comedies by artistic director Susan M. Steadman, Ph.D. All of the performers have previously worked with Offshoot.

The cast includes Brenda Tymecki (Sharpsburg), who recently was a guest performer with the apprentice production of "Clowns' Play"; and Amy Embrich-Selby (Carrollton), who directed "The King Stag" in April. Four performers from last winter's "Going to See the Elephant" are reunited in this production: Ginger McMichael (Fayetteville), who appeared as "Maw"; Jane Bass (Decatur), who portrayed Mrs. Nichols; Rebecca Levin (Atlanta), who played Sara; and John Kennedy (Peachtree City), who provided the offstage voice of Mr. Nichols.

Assistant director for the production is Ethan Williams (Atlanta), and the sceneographer is A. Bryant Betsill Jr. (Fayetteville).

"What Doesn't Kill Me..." is scheduled for the Fayetteville Depot between January 29 and Feb. 7. Tickets, priced at $9 general admission and $7.50 for seniors and full-time students, will be available in mid-January.
