PTC Council to hear rezoning request

A public hearing on rezoning for Cardiff Park, a new 28-home residential area across Planterra Way from the Tennis Center in Peachtree City is on the agenda for Thursday's City Council meeting.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The Cardiff Park area is 6.79 acres where homes will range from $180,000-$190,000. Eighteen of the homes will face a central park area in the Crown Development Corp. subdivision.

Other considerations will include discussion on annexing small parcels of land off Greenwood Lane. Also, the Peachtree City Kiwanis Club plans to present a check for $2,032 to the police department for supplies used in the department's D.A.R.E. drug awareness program.
