NCR prepares young minds

Letters from Our Readers

Although it's said that life is not a dress rehearsal, today is a rehearsal for tomorrow. Since preparation is key, the Peachtree City Chapter of The Alliance of Black NCR Employees is dedicated to passing this lesson on to our next generation of leaders.

"Embracing, Preparing and Investing in Youth Today for Tomorrow's Challenges" is the theme of The Alliance's second Annual Scholarship banquet, which will be held on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Atlanta Airport's Westin Hotel.

Along with the event's corporate speaker, NCR CEO Lars Nyberg, The Alliance proudly welcomes the support of the Honorable Mayor of Atlanta, Bill Campbell, who will be the keynote speaker at the banquet.

A cornerstone of The Alliance, an NCR Business Resource Group (BRG), is community involvement through advancing the minds of young people, and funds raised by this annual gala event benefit deserving Atlanta-area African-American students demonstrating extraordinary academic achievement.

NCR is committed to fostering diversity and the rewards of preparation for the future.

Robert (Kelly) Kramer
Director of Public Relations
