NOVEMBER

20-22: * The 15th annual Candlelight Tour, The Magic of Christmas, will be presented by historic Warm Springs, Ga., Nov. 20-22., from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1-6 p.m. on Sunday. Come back to the days of Charles Dickens with Candlelit streets, sparkling lights, and carolers. 1-800-FDR-1927.

24: * The "Tree of Light" at the grounds of the Fayette County Administrative Complex will be lit Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. Each light on the tree will represent a donation of $15 or more given in memory or honor of someone special to benefit Southwest Christian Hospice. There will be Christmas Music Program by Fayette County Schools, and more. If you would like to make a donation, call 770-969-8354.

27: * Main Street Newnan will present the Tree Lighting Ceremonty and the arrival of Santa Nov. 27. Holiday music, shopping spree drawing and more.

27: * Stone Mountain Park will kick off the 1998 Holiday Season on Nov. 27 at 5:30 p.m. with a full hour of family entertainment. Lots of singing, special holiday laser show, Santa Claus, and more. $6 parking fee to enter park. 770-498-5690.

DECEMBER

2-4: * Agnes Scott College Dance Department will perform "Aladdin's Magic Holiday Ride," Dec. 2-4 at 10:25 a.m. in Presser Hall. Admission $3. 404-471-6891.

3: * The Clark Atlanta University Choir will perform a holiday concert at Spivey Hall, Dec. 3 at 8:15 p.m. The program includes vocal jazz arrangements, holiday tunes and spirituals. Tickets: $15, $7.50 for students. 770-961-3683.

4: * The Newnan Hospital Auxiliary will sponsor the Candlelight Tour of Homes in the College-Temple Historic District, Dec. 4 from 5-9 p.m.

4-6: * Stone Mountain Park's Antebellum Plantation will be the site of the "Deck the Halls Weekend and Evening Candlelight Tours," Dec. 4-6. Day activities are from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. each day and tour begin at 6 p.m. All activities are included in the admission price of $4.25 for adults and $3.25 for children ags 3-11. 1-800-317-2006 or 770-498-5690.

5: * The Tinsel Trail Home Tour, sponsored by the Peachtree City New Neighbors Club, will be Dec. 5 from 2-7 p.m. and Dec. 6 from 1-6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and a portion of proceeds will benefit charitable causes. 5: * The fifth annual Main Street Fayetteville Christmas Parade will be Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. Line up at 9 a.m. at the Fayette place Shopping Center. Horse-drawn buggies, floats, hay wagons, and antique cars encouraged to participate. Walking groups also invited. For more information, call Sherri Anderson at 770-461-6029.

5: * Join the Landmark Christian School's annual Madrigal Dinner for an evening of English Medieval music, a delicious meal and a comedic play, Dec. 4 and 5. 770-306-0647, ext. 246.

5: * Westville, a working 1850 town, will celebrate the 30th annual Yule Log Ceremony to ring in the month-long honoring of friends and volunteers, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m. The lighting of the Christmas Tree at the Singer House will be Dec. 12 and Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. On Dec. 26, the Yuletide festivities will end with the Burning of the Greens at 2 p.m. 1-888-SEE 1850.

5: * Tara Winds will present the annual celebration of the holiday season with the 11th annual "Music of the Season" A Celebration with Youth on Dec. 5 at the Clayton County Performing Arts Center on Mt. Zion Parkway. Free. Public invited to attend. 770-473-2875.

5: * The 11th anniversary Nutcracker production will be performed by Fayette Ballet Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. at the Willie Dukes Auditorium at Starr's Mill High School. 5-6: * Browse the working artist studios at the Euclid Arts Collective Fifth Annual Holiday Studio Tour and Sale, Dec. 5-6 and Dec. 12-13 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. both weekends. Tour the studios of 12 artist for decorative and functional clay works, sculpture, drawings, jewelry, and paintings. Studios located at Little 5 Points Community Center. 404-221-1530.

6: * The Downtown Newnan Christmas Parade, sponsored by Main Street Newnan, will be Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. 770-254-3703.

12-13: * The Georgia Youth Ballet will present its third annual Nutcracker Dec. 12 at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Dec. 13 at 2:30 p.m. for a special scout performance with a backstage tour and commemorative patch. * Callaway Gardens will host the annual Fantasy in Lights Nov. 20-Dec. 27. This incredible ride-through event includes holiday scenes nestled in the woods such as Santa's Workshop, March of the Toy Soldiers, Magical Christmas Garden, Snowflake Valley, and more. * Theatre Gael will present its musical adaptation of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas' "A Child's Christmas in Wales," at the 14th Street Playhouse in Midtown.
