Billy Graham's daughter to speak at brunch

Billy Graham's oldest daughter, Gigi Graham Tchividjian, will be featured guest at the "First Ladies Brunch," to be held at the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Saturday. Tchividjian, mother of seven and grandmother of five, is the author of six books on Christian women's issues, the home and parenting, and she is a regular columnist for the Christian Parenting Today magazine. Registration for the seminar brunch begins at 8:30 a.m. in the church foyer, 142 College St. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at Sonrise Christian Bookstore in Fayetteville or by calling 770-478-6710.

Fayetteville Christian to introduce babies

Fayetteville Christian Church is holding Baby Introduction Day Sunday during the first part of the morning worship service, introducing the babies in the church nursery and their parents.

First Baptist to worship under the big top

Fayetteville First Baptist Church is celebrating "one MIGHTY God" during "one BIG day" in the life of the church Sunday, as part of its "All Together His" building and community evangelism program. There will be a special worship celebration under the big tent at 10:30, after the 9 a.m. Sunday School, followed by a churchwide dinner on the grounds at noon.

'Christmas Post' dessert theater headlines soon

Tickets are now on sale for Braelinn Baptist Church's Christmas dessert theater, "The Christmas Post." Shop for Christmas early at the Holiday Bazaar

The United Methodist Women of Cokes Chapel United Methodist Church of Sharpsburg will hold their annual Holiday Bazaar Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring breakfast, lunch, arts and crafts, homemade baked goods, preserves and home-canned items.
