Tickets are now on sale for the annual Fashion Show, Silent Auction and Luncheon to benefit the Fayette County Council on Domestic Violence. The event is set for Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center in Peachtree City.

The tickets are $25 and are available from Sondra Tushek, 770-631-4615.

It's time for Goblin's Hollow the Hayride, and according to the Peachtree City Recreation Department this hayride through the haunted forest of Shakerag Knoll will thrill and terrify all ages.

Sponsored by the Peachtree City Optimist Club and the recreation department, the hayride encounters sights that include a Frankenstein-like laboratory, spiders and mad chainsaw hackers. It is not recommended for very young or sensitive children.

The event is set for Saturday, Oct. 31 (Halloween Night), from 7:30-10 p.m. There is a $2 fee, and a non-perishable canned food item is requested. Food items are for the Optimist Club Food Bank to help needy families at Thanksgiving.
