I liked your article on the World Wide Discipleship Association in the Sunday Oct. 18 edition. I was quite impressed with the depth and detail of the article. I am quite familiar with the organization; my wife and I have been supporting WDA for about 12 years. But there is a very glaring error in the article. The organization was not founded by Bob Dukes. WDA was founded by the Rev. Carl Wilson. Carl has written four books, one of which lays out the foundation of the organization, and he served as the leader of WDA until he retired recently. He is a pastor in the Presbyterian Church in America and was instrumental in the organizing of Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City and has preached a number of times in the pulpit of Covenant Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville. The Rev. Wilson and his wife Sara Jo have been guests in my house. I feel that you did this man a disservice by not giving the honor that he was due when you attributed his work to someone else.
