On Monday, October 19, RE/MAX Results of Peachtree City and Newnan sponsored a golf tournament at Whitewater Country Club. All funds raised were to benefit the Children's Miracle Network through pediatric medical services provided at Eggleston and Scottish Rite Hospitals in Atlanta, regardless of a family's financial ability to pay.

There were 85 participants hitting the links on Monday, from dozens of different companies and businesses, to support the Children's Miracle Network, play a little hooky and maybe get their hands on some prizes.

South Towne Motors of Newnan sponsored a 1998 Buick Regal Grand Sport for a hole in one. Griffin Financial Services and Carolyn Ford sponsored four other holes in one, with prizes ranging from A Trans II golf cart to a seven day Aruba golf vacation for two. There were raffle prizes to be won as well, one of which was a one hour private ride in the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon. The balloon was inflated outside the clubhouse at the end of the tournament.

The first place low net team was Ralph McCurdy, Rob Lawlor, Debbie Kenney and Joe McCurdy. The first place low gross team was Wade Gaddy, Clay Bennett, Phil Brooks and Chad Kerscher. Dorothy Reinecke of RE/MAX Results-Peachtree City organized the event, which was very successful and fun for all who participated.
