Linda Wells, executive director of the Fayette County Council on Domestic Violence, has announced the appointment of Raymond J. Greiner as the group's director of Public Affairs.

Greiner is president of Raymond J. Greiner and Associates, a training and development consulting firm, and president of Horizons International Inc., a non-profit organization conducting seminars on the importance of using Judeo-Christian principles in both personal and business conduct.

Ken Wallace has accepted the position of chorus director for the Southland Barbershop Chorus of Fayetteville. Wallace, a Macon resident, attended the University of Tennessee, Brewton Parker College and Mercer University and has degrees in music education and early childhood education. He has worked as a church music director since high school and has been in barbershop music for the last 10 years.

The Southland Chorus meets Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in the chorus room of the old Fayette County High School. To confirm practice times, call Bruce Hettel at 770-599-9745.
