I was a resident of East Point for a number of years before fleeing to Fayette County.

I would have been happy to stay in East Point. However, under the "leadership" (I use that term generously) of Bruce Bannister, East Point became a place you flee from, not flock to.

Now I see that Bruce has also fled to Fayette County, and is asking voters to put him in a similar "leadership" position here (he is running as a Democrat for Fayette County commissioner against Republican Linda Wells).

Frankly, having been through his brand of government once before, I can say that we can't afford Bruce Bannister's style of leadership in Fayette County.

Lets make sure Bruce Bannister never has a chance to ruin another community.
