For the most part [Reporter Kelley] Daugherty's article on Worldwide Discipleship Association was accurate. However, she left out one critical person in the development of the association: the actual founder and president until about two years ago, Carl Wilson. Although Carl himself would probably never correct this obvious omission in the article, I feel compelled to do so. Were it not for the untiring work of Carl Wilson, and his deep love of the Lord and constant seeking to serve Him, WDA would not be the ministry it is today. I served as Carl's editorial assistant several years ago, and know first-hand the many hours of work and prayer he put into making WDA a strong vehicle for teaching discipleship the way Jesus taught it. Carl and his wife Sara Jo are following another call of the Lord now. They are involved in another ministry which Carl has started, Brave Good Men United, which is a speaking, consulting and training ministry for Christ. This, like WDA, is headquartered in Fayetteville. Varner Holmes
