The Peachtree City Recreation Department and the AARP will be sponsoring a 55 Alive Refresher Driving Class for persons age 50 and over. You do not need to be a member of AARP to participate in this class. Class will be Oct. 28 and 29, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the lower level of the Peachtree City Library. The cost is $8 per person. The instructor will be Carl R. Jones.

Attendance at both classes (to complete the six-hour class) will give attendees a 10 percent discount on automobile insurance as long as there have been no accidents or chargeable violations during the past three years. The discount is good for a three year period.
