Phase II selling well in The Meadows, Phase III opening expected later this fall

With the third and final phase scheduled to open later this fall, only 28 homes and homesites are still available for purchase in The Meadows, a 153-home community on Tara Road in Clayton County.

The marketing agent in the community, Stephanie Price of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Tri-County/Riverdale office, said that sales in Phase II are proceeding at a steady pace and that building of the homes in the final phase, consisting of 63 homesites, should start by the end of the year.

The Meadows is being developed by Tim Jones Properties Inc., and the exclusive builder is Tim Jones Communities Inc. Homes in the community range in price from $108,000 to $135,000.

The builder is offering 16 different ranch, two-story and split foyer plans in the community, and the homes will be sized from 1,500 to 2,500 sq. ft.

On the interiors, there are hardwood foyers, vaulted living/family rooms with fireplaces, tray ceilings in the master bedrooms, and oversized master baths. The homes are pre-wired for security systems.

On the outside, front yards are sodded, and 10 X 12-ft. wooden decks are standard. The homes have maintenance-free siding exteriors with brick, stacked stone, stucco and fieldstone accents available as upgrades.

Residents have access to an amenities area offering swim and tennis facilities, a clubhouse, a basketball court and a tot lot. The Meadows is in the school district served by Kemp Elementary School and Lovejoy High and Middle School.
