New Home Builders President
Dennis Floyd of Chadwick Homes Inc. is the
newly-elected president of the Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia.
Other 1998-99 officers of the association, elected at
the organization's August meeting, include Jeff Betsill of Jeff
Betsill Homes, vice president; Carl Owen of Atlanta Gas Light,
associate vice president; Dan Zavada of Arbor Springs Plantation,
secretary; and John Hayes of Hayes Development Corp.,
treasurer. Randy Hayes of Hayes Development Corp. is immediate
past president.
Builder directors will include Chad Floyd of Chadwick
Homes; Jim Loudermilk of J. Loudermilk Ltd., and Eddie Lusher of
Jerry Ballard Homes. Associate directors will include Marcella
Waddy of J. Smith Lanier Company, Greg Harrell of Fairburn
Ready-Mix, and Doug Walker of Walker Concrete.
Jerry Tedder of Jerry Tedder Company, Bob Barnard of
Bob Barnard Homes, Randy Hayes and Kenny Johnson of Kenny
Johnson Homes are the association's national directors; Gene Barber
of Gene Barber Contractors and John Wieland of John Wieland
Homes are life national directors; Jim Fulton of Coldwell Banker
Fulton Realty Associates is senior life national director; and
Tedder, Barnard, Richard Simms of Richard Simms Homes, Johnson,
Steve Enterkin of Steve Enterkin Homes, Betsill and Randy
Hayes are the organization's state directors.
Outgoing President Randy Hayes, wrapping up his term
as the group's president, told the association members attending
the meeting: "I'm very proud to be one of you. The builders and
building suppliers here are very involved in this community."
