McCurty to Market Homes in Ivy Place

Lleda McCurty of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty's Tri-County/Riverdale office has been named marketing representative in Ivy Place, a Clayton County community which recently entered its second phase.

McCurty said 25 homes are already sold or under contract in Phase II, a 60-homesite section which has homes with prices starting at $93,900.

Located on Tara Road, Ivy Place is a 158-home community developed by Tim Jones Properties Inc. Since last December, Tim Jones Communities Inc. has been the exclusive builder in the community, and sales there have been brisk since the current model home opened in February. The builder plans to develop Phase III, which will have 55 homesites, in spring of 1999.

Tim Jones is offering nine floor plans, each with several elevations, in Ivy Place. Wooded and basement lots are available.

The homes have maintenance free vinyl exteriors, and front yards are sodded, while interior features include great rooms with fireplaces and tray ceilings. The homes are pre-wired for security systems, and homeowners can receive a free system and the first year of monitoring with an exended contract for three years.

Ivy Place is a community with streetlights, and residents have access to a large amenities area which includes swim and tennis facilities, a volleyball/basketball court, a tot lot, and a picnic area. The area is served by Lovejoy Middle and High School and is in the area of the new Hawthorne Elementary School.

More information about Ivy Place can be obtained by calling McCurty at 770-210-1216 or 770-477-8200 Ext. 211.

Jonesboro-based Tim Jones Communities is a 19-year-old firm which is currently the leading builder in the Clayton/Henry area of Metro South.

Owner Tim Jones is past president of the Metro South Home Builders Association and is the incoming president of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

Earlier this year, Tim Jones Communities Inc. was among the first group of Metro Atlanta area builders to receive the prestigious Certified Professional Home Builder designation from the The Housing Institute Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

Two years ago, Jones and his company received the prestigious Diamond Builder award from 2/10 Home Buyers Warranty (HBW), the nation's leading 10-year home buyer's warranty program.
