Judy Rosalee Hammett
Judy Rosalee Hammett, 51, Fayetteville, died Sept. 15, 1998.
She was born April 17, 1947 in Morgan County, Ga.
Services were held at the Carl J. Mowell & Son Chapel,
Fayetteville, with the Rev. John Weber
officiating. Interment was at Hope Memorial Cemetery, Sharpsburg, Ga.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Hammett, Fayetteville;
a daughter, Jennifer E. Hammett, College Park; father, Roy
Latimer, Phenix City, Ala.; mother, Margaret Latimer, Newnan; brothers,
Douglas Latimer, Sharpsburg and Andy Latimer, Senoia; and a sister,
Brenda Clark, Luthersville.
Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge
of the arrangements.
Elizabeth Rodgers Haney
Elizabeth Rodgers Haney, 51, Newnan, died Sept. 21, 1998.
She was born Oct. 14, 1946 in Jamaica, Queens, New York.
Memorial services were held at the Carl J. Mowell Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Bruce officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Norman Lanier Haney, Newnan;
a daughter, Kayce Davis, Jonesboro; mother, Patricia Casey,
Buford; brothers, Bobby Casey, Duluth, John Casey, Buford and David
Casey, Snellville; and stepdaughters, Patty Kempton, Fayetteville, Tony
Haney, Barnesville and Marcia Kilby, N.C.

of the arrangements.
Dot Payne
Dot Payne, 58, Newnan, died Sept. 25, 1998. She was born Jan. 3,
1940 in Fulton County, Ga., the daughter of the late Charles and Lillie
Mae Burdette Turner. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie
Turner. She had worked as a clerk for NationsBank.
Services were held at the Westside Baptist Church with the Rev.
Doug Bearden and the Rev. Jimmy Fleming officiating. Interment was at
Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Newnan.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Melvin Lee Payne,
Newnan; sons, Charles David and Pina Payne, Newnan, and Robert Lee Payne
and Cassandra Hicks; Cayla Hicks, Baylie Hicks, all of
Newnan; brothers, Ralph Turner, Stockbridge and Charles "Buddy"
Turner, Beaufort, S.C.; sisters, Evelyn Cohran, Newnan and Alline
Tillman, Beaufort, S.C.; and grandchildren, Denver Payton and Maria
Payton, both of Newnan.

Ellen Johnson
Ellen Johnson, 82, Newnan, died Sept. 27, 1998. She was born
Nov. 28, 1915 in Coweta County, Ga., the daughter of William Alton
Smith and Annie Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry
D. Johnson. She had worked as a lunchroom attendant.
Services were held at the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel with the
Rev. Ford Ash officiating. Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Newnan.
McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge of the arrangements.
Roxie Reagan
Roxie Reagan, 82, Newnan, died Sept. 27, 1998. She was born
Nov. 11, 1915 in Heard County, Ga., and was the daughter of Jesse and
Edna Rainey Reagan. She was a charter member of Westview
Christian Church.
Survivors include brothers Charlie and Juanita Reagan, Fayetteville
and George and Nell Reagan, Newnan; and sisters, Bernice Stone,
Newnan and Sara and J. T. Walton, Fayetteville.

Doris Ann Johnson DeNoi
Doris Ann Johnson DeNoi, 64, Newnan, died Sept. 16, 1998.
She was born Oct. 28, 1933 in Newnan to James Mitchell Johnson and
Ann Tommie Beavers Johnson. She was graduated from Newnan High
School and Harrison Draughn Business School.
She was preceded in death by a husband, Harold Wesley Wright,
and by her second husband, Don D. DeNoi. She was also preceded
in death by children, Donald M. DeNoi, David A. DeNoi.
She was a member of the New Ebenezer Baptist Church, Senoia.
Services were held at the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel with the
Rev. Dwight L. Moody officiating. Interment was at Oak Hill
Cemetery, Newnan,
Survivors include her children, Donna M. Ismajli., and Dennis
J. DeNoi; three grandchildren, Suzanna Shepherd, Jacqueline DeNoi
and Deana Ismajli; a brother, Judson Johnson, Calvert City, Ky.; and
sisters, Mary Louise Thompson, Newnan and Geneva Knowles
of Vero Beach, Fla.
