Peachtree City police say they solved numerous thefts and burglaries through arrests of several suspects.

Two women being held in Douglas County Jail on several counts of burglary were charged in connection with a Vintage View burglary in Peachtree City, Chief Jim Murray said.

Peachtree City now has warrants for Barbara J. Hannah, 37, and Berenda A. Woodard, 40, both of Douglasville, the chief said.

Also, police arrested James E. McDonald, 35, of Millner, and charged him with 12 counts of entering autos, giving a false name, and driving on a suspended license. Chief Murray said McDonald is implicated in a number of thefts from cars parked at and around local schools.

Purses stolen from the cars contained credit cards that were used to make local purchases, he said. A suspect was identified and surveillance operations resulted in McDonald's arrest, he said.

Also arrested last week was Ricardo Morales, 60, of McDonough, charged with aggravated assault. Morales reportedly pointed a revolver at a fellow employee in the parking lot of the Wyndham Executive Conference Center, reports said.
