New pastor looks at early Church

The Rev. Daniel Overdorf, new pastor of Fayetteville Christian Church as of Sept. 15, plans a sermon series about "Getting Started on the Right Foot." He writes in the church newsletter that he is aiming for the congregation to "examine Paul's example." His messages beginning Sept. 20 for six weeks will start with "The God Who Guides Us" and cover purpose, ministry, message, and lifestyle. The series ends Oct. 25 with "The Meal That Unites Us." The church is located in Fayetteville at New Hope and Hickory Roads. Call 770-461-8763 for more information.
