So, [Editor-at-large] Dave [Hamrick], who is putting the spin on what? You mention the state of New Hampshire spending less per capita than any other state (at that time) [on education]. What you failed to mention was that schools in New Hampshire are primarily supported by local real estate taxes, so the state spends very little on education. A good comparison might have been total spending per student, regardless of source. This different "spin" might then have revealed that New Hampshire ranks near the top in per capita spending. Money does buy results. You and your Republican buddies are just unwilling to pay for public education. That's my point! Timothy J. Parker
