PTC Heritage Committee starts planning for city's 50th birthday

Peachtree City's Heritage Historic Preservation Committee, formerly known as the Gravesite Committee, is getting a big head start on planning for the city's 50th birthday in 2009.

The committee plans a meeting Tuesday Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. David Piet is chair of the committee.

Committee member Gerri Holt says the group needs to get sub-committees working and discuss goals for the future. For more information call Holt at 770-487-1826.
