One suspect is in custody and two more are being sought in connection with a home invasion robbery on Dixon Circle in Fayette County on Aug. 26.

Fayette County Sheriff's Department Detective Keith Whiteside said that several persons broke into the home of Margaret A. Logan about 2 p.m., "in broad daylight," tied up the 83-year-old woman and took "miscellaneous weapons and her purse."

After the robbers left, Whiteside said, "she was able to work free and call us." Logan sustained no major injuries, he added.

Ricky Jackson, 34, of a Beaver Dam Road address in Peachtree City, is in Fayette County jail, charged with robbery and three counts of felony forgery, Whiteside said. Jackson was caught in Atlanta by the Metro Fugitive Squad about two days after the Fayette incident, Whiteside said, "driving a stolen vehicle." The car did not belong to the Fayette victim, the detective said.

Whiteside said the squad is still looking for two more suspects. More charges may be made against Jackson, he added, once the others are caught and the investigation is completed.

"It's just a matter of time," Whiteside said. "We'll get them."
