Bethany plans revival

Bethany United Methodist Church, 607 Rivers Road, Fayetteville, starts a revival Sept. 27 with a Homecoming Service and covered dish luncheon. The Rev. John Huggins will speak on Sunday morning, and evening revival services through Sept. 30 will be conducted by the Rev. Randall Massengill. Call 964-6999 for more information.

'Moms In Touch' state rally set

Members of the local group and all interested "moms" are invited to the Georgia State Rally of "Moms in Touch International" on Sept. 19 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta. Fern Nichols, founder and president of the group, will speak. The organization meets weekly for an hour, to pray for their children and the schools they attend. Inman Methodist concert series starts

The fourth concert series of the year at Inman Methodist Church starts Sept. 26 with a Youth Choir presentation of "Living on the Edge." Food will be served on the lawn at 5:30 p.m. with the musical presentation starting in the sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. The church is located on Hills Bridge Road off Georgia Hwy. 92 five miles south of Fayetteville. Fayetteville First UMC to hold homecoming

The Rev. Gary Parrish, former minister at Fayetteville First United Methodist, will preach three morning services for Homecoming on Sept. 13. A covered dish luncheon will follow the 11 a.m. service as the church, 175 East Lanier Ave., continues to celebrate 150 years in ministry.
