Stay-at-home mom, you're doing good

Letters from Our Readers

This is in response to the letter you ran a few weeks ago by a "Stay-at-home mom," Niki Smith, who wanted some feedback. Here's mine:

You're on the right track. Ten years ago, my husband and I chose to live on one income (his) and that I would stay home with our children.

God has honored our decision. Our children are respectfully, well-balanced mentally, and happy. They have always had good meals, clothes, fine schooling at home, and know what it means to live for others and not just for themselves.

Be encouraged and keep the faith. Stay away from the TV and keep up those feedings, bottles, diaper changes, and most of all, read your Bible and trust in the Lord and not your own understanding.
