Biker ready to ride

Letters from Our Readers

Thanks you very much for publishing my letter last week on "Biker looks at life, seeks help in making Fayette riding safer."

I've had positive response to the letter and in cooperation with the Fayette County Recreation Department, we are in the process of forming a bike club. The first meeting will be on Oct. 10. Anyone interested in helping to build this club may call me.

Please remember, I ride weekdays between 7 and 8 a.m. on a 12-mile trek leaving near the Olde Mill Steakhouse along Ga. Highway 54 west to Sandy Creek Road to Sams Road to Lee's Mill Road to Ga. Highway 92 to Gingercake Road back to Hwy. 54.

Anyone wanting to ride with me is welcome. To ride with me, you may park your car at the Fayette Community Hospital parking lot and meet me on the back side exit to Sandy Creek Road.

I will be riding to Warm Springs on Monday, Sept. 7, Labor Day, and invite anyone who would like to go to call me at 770-461-1880.

We appreciate your support of bikers by helping us communicate to them.
