Peachtree City workers send a message while enjoying picnic

Nearly 2,000 employees and their families participated in this year's Matsushita Communication Industrial Corporation of USA annual picnic at Callaway Gardens this summer.

Executives and management staff from the company's plant in Peachtree City volunteered to sit atop the 200-gallon dunking booth tank with all the proceeds going to the Fayette County Youth Protection Home.

The contribution is being made through the Fayette County Board of Realtors yearly "Noel November" project. Nearly $1,000 was raised at the picnic to benefit "Noel November." Funds raised through this year's Christmas tree and wreath auction will benefit the Asden Johnson Youth Protection Home.

Company President Toshiyuki Imazu and Vice President John Newman bravely accepted the challenge to "get wet for a good cause."

The dunking booth was one of the highlights of the picnic, and employees enjoyed the opportunity to dunk their supervisor or manager, all in the name of fun and for a good cause.
