Candidates say thanks to voters for support

Letters from Our Readers

From Linda Wells . . .

I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the many people who took the time to become involved in the most recent primary and primary runoff

First, thanks to Steve Kiser and Fred Brown for running such an honorable campaign. It is refreshing in today's political world to know that we have such gentlemen with integrity and dignity seeking to serve the public. My deepest regards to them and their many campaign workers for giving the citizens a true choice at the polls.

In addition, I would like to thank all of the people who worked on my campaign. To the many who displayed their car and yard signs, handed out pamphlets, walked neighborhoods, made phone calls, addressed cards, made campaign donations, and the many behind-the-scenes actions too numerous to mention I am humbled by the hard work and dedication exhibited by so many of you on behalf of our campaign. You have my sincere gratitude and appreciation.

Finally, I want to thank the voters for going to the polls, for taking the time to be informed and for sending a clear message as to what direction you want the county to grow. Please return to the polls again in November to help finish the election process.

I look forward to hearing from each of you and I am honored at the prospect of serving as your county commissioner.

Linda Wells
Fayette
