Late schoolbuses should get tardy slip

Letters from Our Readers

My children attend Oak Grove and Rising Starrs schools.

For years the bus scheduling has been at least predictable. On the first day of school I had to drive them both. Apparently I was not alone as there were hundreds of kids still waiting at 8:15 a.m. as I drove along the route to Starrs Mill.

I guess it's the parents' fault that they did not know the new schedule. I think the board of education and the Transportation Department deserve a tardy slip. Or maybe they relied upon New Math to determine the schedule.
