Beryl C. Holt Barnett

Beryl C. Holt Barnett, 89, Austell, Ga., formerly of Fayetteville, died Aug. 6, 1998. She was born Jan. 2, 1909 in Fayette County and was the daughter of John and Minnie Wallace Holt.

She retired from Rich's in the late 1960s.

Graveside services were held at the Jonesboro City Cemetery with the Rev. Clarence Jett officiating.

Davis-Streumpf Funeral Home, Austell, was in charge of the arrangements.

Pauline Turner Freeman

Pauline Turner Freeman, 80, died Aug. 1, 1998. She was born Sept. 4, 1917 in Bluffton, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cecil Freeman.

Services were held at the Carl J. Mowell Chapel with the Rev. Herschel Turner officiating. Interment was at New Hope Church Cemetery.

Survivors include sons, Cal Hicks, Morganton, Ga., and Mel Blackman, Marietta, Ga.; a daughter, Cynthia Somers, Marietta; and a half brother, Howard Turner, Gravelly, Ark. There are five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
