Rabbi Robert Israel Solomon, a Messianic Jewish rabbi,
will speak in the 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. worship celebrations
at River's Edge Community Church, Aug. 23.
Rabbi Solomon serves as pastor of Atlanta's
Congregation Beth Hallel, one of the nation's largest Messianic
Jewish congregations. He is also founder and president of
Jewish Believers and Friends, a ministry dedicated to bringing
the good news of Yeshua Ha' Mashiach (Jesus the Christ) to
the Jewish communities.
River's Edge Community Church reflects Rabbi
Solomon's heart for his work because one of his three daughters is
Kim Calleiro, wife of the Senior Associate Pastor, Rev.
Sam Calleiro.
Solomon and his wife, Dottie, a Jewish convert, have
two other daughters. He was born and raised in a reform
Jewish home. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force.
The general public is invited to hear Rabbi
Solomon, according to Dr. John Hatcher, senior pastor.
