F'ville Christian to vote on new senior minister

The congregation of Fayetteville Christian Church will meet Sunday after worship service to vote on calling Daniel Overdorf as new senior minister. He has been unanimously approved by the church's elders and board.

Braelinn youth on a mission to serve others

Fifth graders at Braelinn Baptist Church will be learning to serve others next Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. during Mission Club Week. The youth will work as a team as they share with other children in the community through music, games and puppets.

Braelinn principal to lead Newnan church

Bobby Martin, principal of Braelinn Elementary in Peachtree City, has been named minister of Lovejoy Memorial United Methodist Church in Newnan.

Myth of evolution to be exposed Aug. 13

"Evolution The Myth," for children and their friends who have completed the fifth grade, is being presented Aug. 13 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Braelinn Baptist Church, 777 Robinson Rd., Peachtree City. Facilitator Jim Mayo will expose the myth of evolution and examine the "real" evidence. Tickets are $5 per person; lunch is provided.
