Bivins named managing broker of local PruGeorgia officePrudential Georgia Realty has named Drake Bivins as the new Managing Broker of its Peachtree City office in The Avenues Shopping Center. Bivins replaces Kathy Murphy, who was promoted to senior vice president of the Southern region for Prudential Georgia Realty. Bivins previously served as managing broker of the companys Intown office. He spent three and a half years in that role, expanding a 21-agent team to 56 sales associates by the time of his transfer to Peachtree City. He holds his MBA in Management from Georgia State University and has been a licensed Realtor since 1984. He has extensive real estate experience with building and managing new home communities as well as handling sales and marketing responsibilities and agent training. Drake did a tremendous job for us while he was assigned to head the Intown office, but with the opening at our Peachtree City branch, it just made more sense for him to work in the community in which he lives, said Prudential Georgia Realty President and CEO Dan Forsman. A native Georgian and Newnan resident, he is married to local veterinarian Dr. Mary Moore and has three children. They attend St. Pauls Episcopal Church. I am pleased to be taking over the leadership of a tremendously talented group of real estate agents in our Peachtree City office, said Bivins. This office has dominated the Fayette County residential real estate market share over the last year or so and, with our new Fayetteville branch opening this summer, we plan to continue that trend. To contact Drake Bivins or the Prudential Georgia Realty Peachtree City office, please call 770-487-8300 or visit www.PeachtreeCity.PrudentialGeorgia.com for complete information on the office, its team of agents and the nearly 80,000 homes currently for sale in metro Atlanta.
