SummerGrove Tour of Homes coming upTheres a new kind of Home Tour coming to SummerGrove Oct. 15-16 and 22-23. The free home tour combines the appeal of SummerGrove and all it has to offer with the thrill of potentially winning one of two $2,500 gift cards to The Avenue Peachtree City. In addition, the first 50 attendees each day will receive a $10 gift card to The Avenue Peachtree City. Tour goers will start at the SummerGrove Information Center by picking up a registration card and tour map. Then, take the card and visit five designer model homes within the community. Bring the completed card back to the Information Center for a chance to win a $2,500 gift card to The Avenue Peachtree City. One $2,500 gift card will be given away each weekend. Homes on the tour range in price from the $130s to over $700,000, in styles ranging from townhomes to traditional to custom homes. The home tour is much more than seeing great homes and an opportunity to win a shopping spree, its a chance to see the application of todays design trends. Consumers are spending more time at home and they desire to make the most of their living environments through design and furnishings, said Peggy Sullivan, vice president of marketing for Pathway Communities. Lifestyle changes and a desire for something different are forces influencing the design of many of todays new homes and the Home Tour addresses many of these design trends. In fact, a recent survey from the American Institute of Architects suggests that more homeowners are working from home due to the continued escalation of gas prices and more flexible work options. Sullivan believes the home office trend has a direct impact on the design of the entire home, not just the office. Outdoor living areas are becoming very popular at SummerGrove, said Sullivan. Since people are seeking more at-home time, they are looking to increase their overall living environment, not just the home office. The SummerGrove tour is a great way for people to experience first hand why SummerGrove is one of the best-selling communities in the Atlanta region, she continued. In addition, it gives consumers great design ideas and inspiration for their home. SummerGroves appeal is not limited to its award-winning home designs. The community is known for having one of the areas most expansive amenity packages. Amenities include an 18-hole, Golf Digest-ranked golf course, a 100-acre private lake, miles of pedestrian paths and sidewalks, two swimming venues, a tennis complex and a variety of tot lots and neighborhood playgrounds. SummerGrove also offers a unique technology program for every home. The program includes structured wiring, the potential for ultra-fast Internet access and an exclusive community Intranet built specially for the residents of SummerGrove. SummerGrove is at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd. in Newnan. Tour hours are Saturdays 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays 1-6 p.m. For more information on the Home Tour, call 770-252-9000 or visit www.summergrove.com.
