PTC Classic next Saturday

The 25th running of the Peachtree City Classic will take place next Saturday, Oct. 15. As there is each year, there are men’s and women’s 5K races and a 15K race.

On Friday, Oct. 14 there will be a Race Expo at the Wyndham Peachtree Executive Conference Center from 5-9 p.m. and the Expo will move to the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater (the start of the race) on Saturday morning. All are welcome to attend the expo, which will also serve as a race packet pickup point for participants.

The men’s 5K will be the first race on Saturday, starting at 8:50 a.m., followed by the women’s 5K at 9 a.m. and the Open 15K at 9:10 a.m. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female runners as well as the top three male and female runners in each age group.

On-line registration will be accepted until Tuesday, Oct. 11., space permitting. The entry fee is $27 for the 5k and $30 for the 15K.
