Bad Links? | Tour de 29 - A Festival of CitiesA Festival of Festivals featuring the community, businesses and arts & culture of South Fulton Come along and join in on the fun as you take the Tour de 29, a celebration of South Fulton along Hwy. 29 and discover your new favorite part of town! During the months of September through October you will experience an exciting array of cultural activities while visiting a variety of venues on or near Hwy. 29. Your tour will take you to city festivals, historic homes, great restaurants, beautiful parks and much more! Many of the activities are FREE, however food and beverage are not unless otherwise noted and a cover charge may be required at some of the venues. U.S. Highway 29 runs directly through the cities of Atlanta, East Point, College Park, Union City, Fairburn, and Palmetto in the listed order. The highway is more commonly known by the following names in the following cities: Lee Street in the city of Atlanta; Main Street in the cities of East Point, College Park and Palmetto; Roosevelt Highway in Union City and West Broad Street in Fairburn. Traveling along Highway 29, it takes the following time approximations to arrive in the City of Atlanta from the following South Fulton cites: East Point - 3 to 5 minutes, College Park - 5 to15 minutes, Union City - 15 to 20, Fairburn 20 to 25 minutes and Palmetto 25 to 40 minutes The MARTA Train makes stops along Highway 29 in East Point and College Park MAP A fun map of the Festival will be available no later than September 2 FESTIVAL EVENTS Here are the events featured on the Tour de 29 located on or near Hwy. 29.
