Bad Links? | Local company raises $20K for Red CrossA corporation headquartered in Peachtree City has raised more than $20,000 in a nationwide campaign to help victims affected by Hurricane Katrina. The money raised by Printegra Corporation, which prints a variety of materials, was donated to the American Red Cross, the agency which is charged with providing food and shelter for many of those displaced by the storms wrath. Casey Campbell, Printegras president and chief executive officer, said all the employees have been moved by the disaster. While we all have the ability to contribute individually to help, hopefully by working together as a company we can have an even greater impact, Campbell said. The Red Cross has labeled its Hurricane Katrina relief efforts as its largest mobilization in the organizations history. The Red Cross also assists local residents who need temporary shelter when their homes are damaged. Local residents are being urged to support the Red Cross financially with online donations at www.redcross.org. Donations can also be made by calling 404-870-4440 and volunteers can sign up by calling 404-870-4425.
