Bad Links? | Exhibitor signup now underway for October event in GrantvilleGrantville Citi-Fest, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 8, is intended to showcase the communitys offerings and promote interaction among Grantville-area residents, business owners, and candidates for local office. Local independent business owners can set up exhibit tables or provide printed material for distribution to residents at the Citi-Fest Business Exchange. Civic groups, churches and similar organizations are invited to host bake sales and information tables. Coweta artists and craftspersons are encouraged to display and sell their creations. There is no charge to exhibit. Advance sign-up for booth space is encouraged but not required. The event will also provide an opportunity for Grantville city council candidates to meet-and-greet residents. Current city and county officials are also encouraged to drop-in and connect with residents of this growing community. Related activities include childrens citizenship activities, citizen sound-off, a voters registration rally and polling machine demonstration. Grantville Citi-Fest is Saturday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Most activities will take place in the freight depot on Main Street, and downtown businesses will be open during the event.
