Boyette concert is this Sunday at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church

Leslie Boyette, choir director at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Peachtree City, will present an organ recital Sunday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m. Boyette will perform selections by J.S. Bach, Willan, Rink, Messiaen, and Widor. A reception will follow the recital. The public is invited to attend.

Boyette earned a bachelor of music from Furman University and a masters of sacred music from Georgia State University. He studied organ with Dr. Timothy Wissler, organist for Christ the King Cathedral in Atlanta.

Professional affiliations include membership in the American Guild of Organists and the Association of Anglican Musicians, an elected position.

The congregation of St. Andrew’s recently honored Boyette for his ten years as choir director.
