Bad Links? | Local barber opens new shop in GriffinThe all-new Crossroads Barber Shop recently opened in the Wal-Mart shopping center in Griffin. Sandy Kilgore (formerly of Rockys Barber shop in Fayetteville), along with her husband Brian and their two children Hunter and Hannah, could not be more excited about the new shop. After working at Rockys for six years, I decided to open my own barber shop, I hope to give the people of Griffin and Spalding County the same old fashion Barber Shop experience that Rockys has since the late 1960s, she said. I am very proud to also have two great barbers with me: David Hay, with 25 years of experience here in Griffin; and Ela Stinchcomb, with 20 years of barbering experience, seven of which was on an American military base in Germany where she was raised until she moved to the states in 1992. We are going to give it our best and hope we do well. |
