Wilson and Kathy Painter of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Robyn Andree Painter, to Peter Michael Isbister, son of Betsy Isbister, John Isbister and Roz Spafford of Santa Cruz, Calif.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Richard and Hazel Olson Brian of Ridgeway, Pa., Mrs. Sarah Graham of Slippery Rock, Pa., and the late Wilson E. Painter Sr. of Evans City, Pa. A graduate of McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, she is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia where she was a Foundation Fellow. While at the university, she founded and served as president of the UGA chapter of Habitat for Humanity. After graduation, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Tsarabaria, Madagascar, for two years. Most recently, she was graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. and currently serves as a law clerk for the Hon. Marsha Pechman of the U.S. District Court of Western Washington.
The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Elizabeth King of Madison, Wis. and the late Eugene Huntington King of New York, N.Y., and the late Claude Isbister and Mrs. Ruth Isbister of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A graduate of Santa Cruz High School in California, he was graduated with high honors in government from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and spent a year working with human rights organizations in Guatemala. He recently was graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he had a fellowship as a Public Interest Law Scholar. He currently works as an attorney with the Snohomish County Public Defender in Everett, Wash.
The wedding will be in April, 2006, in Savannah.

The small, gardenside wedding will be Sept. 18, 2005, at the Carl House in Auburn, Ga.
The couple will reside in Sandersville.

She is a 1999 graduate of Klein Forest High School and a 2003 graduate of Loyola University, New Orleans, where she received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry. She currently attends medical school at Loyola University in Chicago.

He is a 1997 graduate of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone and a 2001 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he received a bachelor of science degree in management. He currently attends law school at Loyola University in Chicago.
The wedding will be Sept. 24, 2005, at Del Lago Resort in Montgomery, Texas. The couple will reside in Chicago, Ill. after a honeymoon in Jamaica.
