McIntosh’s Borsare wins Carrollton Invitational

McIntosh’s girls placed fifth overall in the championship girls division of the Carrollton Invitational on Saturday, but Emily Borsare won the race with a time of 17:45.50, 52 seconds better than second place.

Rounding out the top five for the Lady Chiefs were:
• Erica Hughey, 19, 20:51.34
• Rebecca Stokes, 25, 21:23.46
• Kaia Hampton, 39, 21:51.61
• Kristy Espiau. 43, 21:57.75

In the championship boys division, Fayette County placed 12th, McIntosh placed 13th and Sandy Creek placed 18th. Times were not posted on GATFXC.com.
