Knight Group still on Chronicle list

The Knight Group Inc. has moved up one step in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s yearly listing of “Atlanta’s Top 25 Home Builders”. In addition, four members of the Knight family were included in the same publication’s annual “Who’s Who in Residential Real Estate”.

The annual Top 25 ranking, which was published in the newspaper’s edition for Aug.19-25, 2005, had The Knight Group in the No. 21 position, a step up from last year’s No. 22 ranking. The rating was based on the number of homes closed in 2004.

In the same edition of the publication, the company’s partners, brothers Perry and Scott Knight and their sons Jay and Chris Knight, were in the “Who’s Who” listing, which the publication explained is its “complete guide to the leading professionals in metro Atlanta’s residential real estate industry.”

The Knight Group, which is celebrating its 27th year in business, is one of the south Atlanta area's most active home builders and currently builds and develops in Clayton, Henry, DeKalb, Newton, Carroll, Houston, and South Fulton counties. The company is on a pace to sell over 500 homes this year.
