Bad Links? | PTC parents arrested for filthy houseFive children have been placed in protective custody after officials witnessed filthy conditions in the Peachtree City home they were living in, police said. The parents, Michael O’Toole, 40, and Tina O’Toole, 32, were arrested Wednesday by Peachtree City police on five counts of cruelty to children. Large amounts of fecal matter, soiled clothing and trash were discovered throughout the residence, police said. The building was declared uninhabitable by the Peachtree City Building Department and several pets were removed by Fayette County Animal Control, police said. The children, who were removed by authority of a court order obtained by officials of the Fayette County Department of Family and Children Services, range in age from three to 14 years old, police said. |
