Youth choirs at Prince of Peace kick off new year

The children’s, youth and teen choirs at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will kickoff their new year this week, with children’s choir practice set to begin tonight and teen choirs next Sunday.

On Wednesday, Sept. 7., Deanna McAteer, children’s choir director, invites children ages 3 though first grade to Cherub Choir, and kids in second through fifth grade, to Kids’ Music Company. Cherub Choir meets each Wednesday from 6-6:30 p.m and Kids’ Music Company meets from 6:30-7:45 p.m. In addition to the opportunity to make new friends, children may join in such things as music, dance, fun, and activities and lessons about Jesus.

All middle and high school youth are invited to join the God Squad programs, which kick off Sunday, Sept, 11. The God Squad is a ministry for middle and high school youth which involves music, drama, dance, and lessons about God. The high school group meets Sundays from 2-4 p.m. and the middle school group meets from 4-6 p.m.
