Bad Links? | Annual Quick-Turner reunion set for SaturdayBy CAROLYN CARY The 7th annual reunion of descendants of Eli and Drucilla Turner Quick, originally of Inman, Fayette County, will get together this Saturday, Sept. 10, at New Salem Baptist Church in Griffin. The event begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. If you are related through Mary Jane Middlebrooks, Etta Tapley, Roland Mal, Wells or Wills Quick, Minerva and John Wesley Turner, Sarah and Franklin Stuffs, William and Sarah Quick, Colin Missouri Quick, David Quick, or Eliza Louise Thomas, you are encouraged to attend. The Quicks and Turners settled in Fayette, Spalding, Pike and Coweta counties. Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish, pictures and any pertinent memorabilia.
