Bad Links? | Hurricane briefsTyrone kids raise money for victimsThree Tyrone children ran a Kool-Aid stand Saturday to raise almost $100 for the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Fund. Blair Schlachter, Sirena Eller and Bryson Eller reside in the South Fork subdivision in Tyrone. All three attend Tyrone Elementary School, where Blair and Sirena are in fourth grade and Bryson is in second grade. Steve Eller, Sirena and Brysons father, said the stand was their own idea to help people who had become victims of the disaster. The kids brought the proceeds to Peachtree Citys Fire Station 84 Monday afternoon. We appreciate and laud all three children for their compassion and efforts to help people in distress, said Fire Chief Stony Lohr.
