Final weekend for ‘The Tempest’

This is the final weekend of performances for Offshoot Productions’ production of William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest.”

The show, at the Roger Spencer Community Center in Tyrone, will be performed at 8 p.m Friday and Saturday. To create the “Shakespeare in the Park” feel, actors, in the guise of 17th century performers, will greet the audience with music, magic and mime for a half hour before the play begins.

Admission is $10 for general admission, $8 for full-time students and senior citizens and free for children ages 10 and younger. Phone 770-631-2362 for more information.
