‘House of Praise’ will be at McDonough Road Sept. 11

The Celebration Choir and Orchestra of McDonough Road Baptist Church will present the worship musical “House of Praise,” Sunday, Sept. 11, at 10:55 a.m.

Compiled by Larry Goss and Phil Barfoot, “House of Praise” is a collection of exuberant praise songs and contemplative worship songs written by some of the greatest Christian composers of our day - Cindy Cruise Ratcliff, Israel Houghton and Paul Baloche.

“There’s something for everyone in this collection,” said Mark Karki, minister of worship and music at McDonough Road. “These songs will touch our hearts and lift our spirits. September 11 will be a great day of praise in the house of the Lord.”

The musical will be offered at 10:55 a.m. only. Child care will be provided.

McDonough Road Baptist Church is at 352 McDonough Rd., just past the driver’s license offices and soccer fields, in Fayetteville.

Bible study for all ages is at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday morning and worship is at 10:55 a.m. David L. Chancey is pastor.
